Very nice and calm with a big free parking. Staf very friendly and helpfull. Breackast very goog with a lot of choice. The hotel has a good geographic situation. A lot of beautiful typical villages are not far of it.

Room Tip: I think all the rooms are well

Nice rooms with spacious bathrooms. Easy parking. Good breakfast. Cute wine village. Off the beaten path. Very enjoyable. Internet was spotty depending on rom location. Visited in off-season soa little sleepy.

This fascinating hotel is an excellent place to have as a base when visiting Alsace. It is situated in Mittelwihr in the middle of the region, on the main road but set back so the traffic does not disturb you. Service is excellent and the owner speaks decent english, good german and of course french. From the hotel you can do walking tours of the vineyards, follow a history trail from WW2 and visit winemakers by the dozen. There is high-speed WiFi available in every room. This was actually installed during our visit. Breakfast is not included in the price but this is not allowed according to French law so there is no way around.

Room Tip: There is only one restaurant (however excellent!) within walking distance and only one little food store so be prepared to drive to other villages for dinner or shopping. There are however winemakers by the dozen!

We stayed there for the christmas markets and the owners were so welcoming and friendly! Delicious cakes at reception every day, huge breakfast with lots of yummy food, spacious and quiet rooms: a lovely stay. We highly recommend this hotel and will stay there again.

I stayed for three nights at this hotel with a group of colleagues. It is set back a little off the main road and has a huge parking lot and is easily found. It is surrouned by vines which come right up to its walls! It is a modern hotel built in an old style. It is situated in the village of Mittlewihr, one of the villages totally flattened during World War II, after which the village was rebuilt so no medieval lanes here. However it is within easy reach of Colmar and all the wonderful old villages on the southern Route du vin. All the rooms are large and very comfortable, with modern bathrooms. The decor is "blessed" with silk flowers everywhere which gave the hotel a slightly old fashioned air. There are no tea making facilites in the room which was a disappointment, neither is there a restaurant, but there is a great restaurant in nearby Beblenheim...l'Agneau Blanc which I can thoroughly recommend. The breakfast buffet is large and varied. The WiFi doesn't reach up to all rooms so some of us had to sit in reception to get it. The staff are very friendly and very helptful and speak good English. I would return to this hotel with pleasure... Please put tea making facilites in the rooms and I will give it five points next time.

Room Tip: Some of the rooms overlook the vines at the back, some overlook the front of the hotel and car park... but all rooms are quiet and comfortable.
