I have always wanted to eat here after reading rave reviews and listening to friends comments and today I had that opportunity. I booked an afternoon tea for me and my mum for her birthday, Sarah and her team welcomed us with open arms, produced a cake stand full of homemade cake, scone and variety of sandwiches (some we had to bring home) and a birthday card for my mum, very thoughtful. I will indeed visit again and recommend to everyone I know.

Went with family; 2 just teenagers ,2 oldies 2 inbetweeners, all were satisfied, crusts cut off the sandwiches, the portions of cake were ginormous , we were given a roll of tinfoil to take away the cake we couldn't eat.!
Will be back one day for lunch.

So me and my 2 sons went for a half term treat, the kids had the kids sandwich which had a unicorn cut out, a unicorn milkshake and rainbow cake to finish off, I had a jacket with chilli and Victoria sponge cake. Oh my goodness, what a treat it was. Massive servings, friendly staff, the cakes are just amazing. The rainbow cake they couldn't finish so took most of it home and had it the next day. My son described it as his best lunch ever. It was busy so I would advise booking but it was school holidays. Will definetly be returning.

We arrived for lunch and were served drinks within a few minutes by the friendly waitress. A large teapot with plenty for 3 cups each. We placed our orders for lunch. I had a pasty with mashed potatoes and peas and my wife had a chicken curry. The hearty meals arrived within ten minutes and were piping hot. The pasty was one of the best I have tasted, and my wife's chicken curry was really good with lots of chicken. We enjoyed our meals and were too full to try the cakes. Probably go back next week for a cream tea. I can't fault the value as the whole meal for two with drinks came to about £12.

Me and a few friends came for afternoon tea that was absolutely delicious, we also had young children with us so we were in the barn as space is better, Sarah had gone out of her way to ensure the fire was on and the room was kept warm for us, she also made us feel very welcome and even brought a small snack for the children. Been a few times and every time Sarah doesn't disappoint. Lovely food and very friendly.
