If your looking to spend a night or two here with your partner while you explore the amazing Jervis bay area I would not recommend staying here. Besides the motel we found Sanctuary Point to be a bit of a let down in regards to shops, takeaways and restaurants, especially if you arrive late evening (There will be nothing open and you will be driving back to Nowra to eat) So if your like us and going to explore Jervis Bay area here's what we would do next time in hindsight. Pay a little more and stay somewhere more upmarket like Nowra or Huskisson. Check out Moona Moona Creek and Moona Moona beach and perhaps find somewhere to stay around there.

Room tip: keep looking

Our stay was amazing , great place , clean and friendly staff. Highly recommended, its also good with the short walk to the corner store, close to the water, and very afforadable for stays.

I can call it a hidden gem of the south coast.

Two night stay and unfortunately there were a lot more negatives than positives, so I wouldn't return.
- Insects were all throughout the room, including flies and spiders in the main area and cockroaches in the bathroom.
- The door had gaps around it, so no doubt this lets the insects in. It also let in cigarette smoke from other guests smoking right outside our room. Poor layout/design - it smelt awful.
- The walls are paper thin and you can hear the neighbours talking, watching tv etc.
- The contactless check-in was ok, but this fails to provide a point of contact during the stay and no information was provided over the phone during "check in"; it was a very brief call just to state the pin code.
- The bedside tables looked to have been painted (black) and this paint left marks on our personal belongings as it hasn't been sealed correctly for that surface.
- The room smelt of BO, it was very musty and made the sheets smell so it didn't feel clean. This could be smelt whilst trying to sleep.
- The other guests during our stay were loud and it was like they were in our room, particularly given they had a small child who enjoyed squealing. They played outside until well past 11pm and it was as if our door was open, we could hear their conversation so clearly.

Stayed here for 1 night. First thing to notice is photos on website are old and rooms are recently refurbished. clean and comfy bed. Views of golf course. Quick and easy contactless check in.
Great for overnight stays / people passing through.

This motel took advantage of us. We were stuck in the bushfire area and our hotel booked for that night cancelled our booking and provided us the refund as they thought we would not be able to make it. Then we called this motel, explained our situation and they booked us by taking our bank card details over phone and charged us immediately. We called the motel again to check if roads are open to their area and the girl assured us.
We made it to the motel late and called them to inform for our arrival, but they shocked us by saying that our booking was cancelled and they will refund the money. We were devastated, we came all the way here and now we have to look for another hotel so late. Refund never came back and they don't return our calls. Wish this never happens to any of you!
