We arrived on the 1/1/2016 in the afternoon around 2pm. It took abt half an hour for us to be checked in and we have to wait at the miserable lobby where there is neither air cond or fans. The only fan is at the reception where the front desk staff seat. It can be very overwhelming hot consider the weather in Lombok.

Once we check in we asked for towels and that also took half an hour before we get our towel. The front desk asked the housekeeping to bring it down but it wasnt send over and at last the reception have to go n pick it up for us.

Next is the air cond where we complain and they said it was just fix we just need to wait a little while longer for it to cold. But after our walk to the opposite beach n back for our swim by 7pm the room still hot. The best thing is after our dinner, the room is full of ants which is coming in from outside n it went right inside the toilet as is the nearest from the main door of the room. We have complaint n they only use repellent to spray it but it does not go to t root of the problem. Is only temporary as it came back the next day. They suppose to change our room on our 2nd day as agreed but somehow in the nite when we came back after our day was told no room was arrange. If that the case why bother calling us in the 1st place n asked whether we want to change the room or not. In total we stay 3 nites n every nites same thing happen

Beside that the hygiene is another matter. The plates serves are not properly clean where the grease and the left over ketchup/chilies sauce is still stick to the plate. If u happen to c t way they handle the fruits, beat u wont want to eat it cos they dun prepare the fruits properly. After they cut, they just left the fruits unattended or cover and there are lots of flies around the restaurant.

Is really not worth staying there. The foods serves opposite the hotel is much cleaner and better.

The only thing I can said is the staff is friendly and helpful especially Nurul and a few. Other than that think the hotel need to keep u the place and hygiene and the bath and hand towel is really in need of a new one cos is look so dark.

Plus the hotel should have a ruling where guest are to wear swim suit in the pool and not any other garments as we notice mostly the local are not the swim suit they are in their tee n shorts which is really not hygiene .

Great location, 5 minutes walk into the centre on Sengigi.
Nice room with a nice view over the beautiful pool and surrounding bush.
Air Conditioner was very noise,  we were OK with that, as we had earplugs (well I did, and my wife is a heavy sleeper). I am sure if we advised the staff, they would have fixed it or found another room.
The staff were fantastic and felt like friends rather than staff.
We had a great NYE party - free for guests (well the room price was a lot higher for that night, so not really free!) : )
A lot of good entertainment and a tasty bbq.
Breakfast selection was good, decor was nice and food was of good quality.
The pool was very nice and the deck chairs were ultra comfy.

The hotel is near the edge of Senggigi and is within 5 min walking distance to nearby restaurants and shops. As the name suggests (Kebun means gardens in Indonesian), the hotel has lots of plants and flowers, and is very well maintained. There is an infinity-like pool which is heated and is great for night swim under the stars.

The rooms are spacious and above average. Housekeeping could have been better. Shampoo and shower gels were not replaced promptly and when we moved the beds, it was very dirty underneath. The management may want to improve on these areas.

Breakfast is good and staffs are friendly. Overall, it is value for money.

Hotel is located across the Senggigi Beach with lots of restaurants, spa and gift shops nearby. We enjoyed our stay, it was a lovely and quiet hotel. Clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. Will definetely recommend this hotel to my wider family and friends.

The hotel is good, the deluxe rooms spacious with well equipped bathrooms. Good pressure and hot water in the shower. What brings my overall rating down is the very poor and limited breakfast. For this price and standard I expect much more. The staff will explain that the espresso machine is broken instead of telling you that you need to pay extra for your morning cuppa. Clearly not worth the trouble as the results are pretty poor anyway. The three roaming turkeys are a fun distraction.
