Authentic local Thai experience in a magnificent settings . A Fantastic tropical getaway with a rich and unique landscape of mountains, jungle and sea replete with rich flora and fauna in an eco friendly setting. One thing you don’t wana miss is to have butler Joy ! She was truly a joy in every aspect and extended great care while we were there .

I cannot say enough amazing things about this resort and its staff. Where do I begin! My husband and I got married there on June 19. We had decided on Rayavadee based on tripadvisor reviews and recommendations from friends who had traveled there before. Planning a wedding from the other side of the world in a different time zone was not easy. Luckily we had Lisa who was in constant correspondence with us and making the process extremely easy and streamlined. We exchanged e-mails frequently regarding the logistics of the wedding and she was able to answer all of my questions and concerns which I regret were a lot given that we had never visited the resort before and had no idea what to expect. She was extremely kind, gracious, and patient with my questions and was able to reassure me that everything would be OK! Prior to leaving for our wedding, we still had many loose ends that needed to be sorted but again Lisa had reassured me that things would be taken care of once we arrived and met our event planner, Pin.

The greeting from the Airport and transit to the hotel was phenomenal. Everything was pre-arranged for us and the journey was pleasant and quick - approximately 20 minutes to the dock and another 20 minutes on a beautiful boat to the hotel. We were offered cold towels and water in the car taking us to the boat. It was great. We arrive at the hotel in the evening and are greeted by 6 staff members. It was a warm welcome to what we would call home for the next 5 days. The check in process was extremely easy where we received a nice introduction to the grounds and where they answered our questions. There during the introduction was when we met our event planner, Pin.

That evening Pin had arranged for us to have our dinner at the Grotto which was included in our wedding package. It as PHENOMENAL. The food was excellent and the service was even better. Pin met us and discussed logistics for what to expect over the following days. My nerves were calmed knowing that there was a plan in place and that we had somebody reliable keeping track of all the details that we weren't even thinking of. They were extremely accommodating as well and had us do a wine tasting to help pick our beverages for the wedding. It was a great first evening at the resort and a wonderful dinner for my fiance (at the time) to enjoy.

It was time to turn in for the evening and we went to our rooms which were stunning. The rooms were so unique. Two stories and feeling completely private, like you're in your own home separated from the rest of the guests. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. The room temperature was perfect even given the heat and humidity outside. It was absolutely perfect. The bathroom was spacious and clean. We were excited to have multiple nights ahead to look forward to in this beautiful space. The grounds in general were stunning. Easy to get around by buggie but also very walk-able. My favorite was the pool area with the stunning view of the ocean in the backdrop and the cliffs. Absolutely breathtaking.

The following days were the rehearsal dinner, the wedding, and the farewell brunch. They could not have been more perfect. To be honest I had no idea what to expect. I had seen some photos before of the setup and they were stunning. But being there in person was a completely different experience. The set ups were UNBELIEVABLE. For the rehearsal dinner there was concern that it may rain and there may be high winds. Pin had warned of us this and had a backup plan for us immediately. We were adamant on keeping the dinner near the beach and she made this happen for us. Everything from the seating chart, the buffet setup, the food at the buffet (DELICIOUS), and THE SERVICE - WOW. I cannot say enough good things about the service. There were people assisting at the buffet line, the servers helping us in and out of our chairs and placing our napkins, the bartenders...the list goes on. Everyone was absolutely wonderful. And this continued throughout the following days. Our guests were treated like royalty. We ate like kings and queen and were treated like kings and queens.

I truly can never thank the staff enough for how great of a job they did throughout our wedding. In addition, Pin was accessible throughout the entire stay and was present at all of the events, ensuring that everything was going as planned and we had everything we needed. We appreciated her SO MUCH - she truly went above and beyond anything we could have asked for.

I have traveled to many places and stayed in a variety of hotels and this is by far the best service and stay in a hotel I have ever experienced in my entire life. The staff and especially Pin made our wedding the best day of our lives and greatest event our friends/family said they had ever been to. We all were extremely impressed by the attention to detail and hard work that everyone had put into making it so special for all of us.

Thank you to the entire staff for making this the most memorable vacation/event of our lives. A wedding is of course magical no matter where in the world it takes place but this is more special than anything I could have ever imagined or planned on my own. We will forever treasure Rayavadee and their incredible staff for making Krabi our favorite place in the world. I wish there was more we could do to show our gratitude for your patience, service, kindness, and hospitality throughout our stay.

I want to say a special thank you to Pin who made this the happiest/best day of our lives. She is such hard working, kind, professional and it was a pleasure and honor to have her help plan and organize the wedding. She made our experience fun, easy, and extremely memorable. Our families and guests would like to thank you as well for your hard work, fun spirit, and attention to detail. We will never forget you.

My wife and I, with our eighteen your old son, spent four nights at the Rayavadee at the end of our holiday in Thailand. What a truly wonderful place. This hotel is exceptional in every regard:

The location is perfect, set on the end of a peninsular with beaches on three aspects. Real thought has been given to the layout and the landscaping of this resort with the individual villas set in beautiful extensive tropical gardens.

The resort is kept in fantastic condition. The villas were beautifully clean and really well presented throughout our stay. The gardens, restaurants and common areas are maintained to the very highest standard.

The thing that makes this place so special though is the staff. They are simply wonderful. Happy, attentive and very professional, at check in, in the restaurants, the gardeners and the cleaners. Everyone we came across was simply fantastic. There is an attention to detail which shines throughout. Staff training is clearly taken very seriously here. On more than one occasion we observed staff being extremely polite in the face of some very testing rude behaviour from guests. To their credit the staff remained courteous and professional, which is more than I would have been able to do in the same circumstances.

The restaurants are all very good here. Lovely breakfasts with extensive choice; the grotto is an amazing location for drinks, lunch or dinner; Krua Phrangang is a perfect location to have a great Thai dinner.

Other facilities are also top class. We used the tennis and squash courts, both are great, as is the gym. We didn’t use the spa but it looked lovely. The hotel has a nice shop with interesting souvenirs and a nice library where you can borrow books, play chess or use computers.

We arranged our own transfer to the hotel by long tailed boat as we were travelling from the nearby Centara Grand. The transfer was really easy. We just arrived at the beach and jumped off. The hotel does have tractors to transport people off the long tailed boats if you don’t fancy getting your feet wet.

The hotel is not cheap. But you will be well aware of that before you arrive. It does however offer an environment which sets it apart. So why not treat Yourself?

Just one very small grumble....afternoon tea is served from 4pm to 5pm. We thought this was too late for those who are considering having dinner later. But to be honest, it would be wrong to criticise this hotel, our stay was out of this world and faultless.
