I had read the wonderful reviews for Gusto and so went along with a couple of friends expecting it not to live up to the hype. I was immediately proved wrong. This restaurant is very small, but the beauty of this is that you are served beautiful absolutely freshly cooked delights. Alan, the chef and waiter (seriously) is passionate about the food he cooks, and rightly so. In fact I would say you would be mad not to follow his suggestions. The mozzarella starter was so fresh and scrumptious it was like mozzarella I have only tasted in Italy. My husband had the spring rolls and loved them. We all had the sea bream, and beside the fish being incredible, the veg was so perfectly cooked that I would go back just for that. Desserts ridiculously good. Only slight downside might be lack of ventilation in restaurant, it was a bit steamy, but I can forgive that. The fact that it is a byo with no corkage is the icing on the cake. If you want a specific soft drink perhaps take that as not much choice but this place is all about the food.
Make sure you book, I will certainly be returning.
