One of the common complaints about European hotel rooms is the small size and lack of conveniences. Not the case with our room (241) at Hotel Civita. We had an ample sized bedroom with a spacious ante room that provided seating and an entry table, The bathroom was also spacious and had all the requisite appliances.
This heotel was recommended by the staff person, Eda, at Feudi di San Gregorio winery and she was even kind enough to make the booking phone call for us. Using Waze, yes it works in Italy, we were able to drive right to the hotel with no drama, an unusual event in my experience.
The only reason this place doesn't get five stars is that the bed was a bit, well actually a lot, on the hard side and the breakfast was just a bit below the standard of our other hotels that offered breakfast. wifi was fast and reliable, there is an underground parking garage and a lovely terrace behind the hotel where you can sit and enjoy a bottle of the local wines on offer in their on site restaurant.
I recommend the hotel highly, it being far better than might be expected in a town the size of Atripalda.More
