Richardson's Seacroft Holiday Village
Reviewed 26 September 2017

This place is in real need of updating, and as I understand, it will be during this winter.
The food was adequate for the price we paid. The main hall/ theatre had chairs and sofas so uncomfortable I was in pain from sitting in them for a week after. Get some new and comfortable seating whilst updating. It was obvious I was not the only one, as others were complaining too!

Room Tip: N/A as I understand it's being demolished.

We've been coming to Seacroft for several years, and we have always been satisfied with the standards that have been set both in terms of (premier) accommodation, and services at the restaurant. Entertainment varies, but staff always friendly and helpful. This year we hear that major changes are afoot, but nothing was said and it was a shame that lots of rumours are circulating while we were there. We would like it to stay as it is, but still wish Richardsons a successful future.

The whole holiday camp is looking a bit tired, but the accommodation was adequate and reasonably clean. The bed was firm and most comfortable and we slept like logs. However after dancing util the small hours, we were so tired, I don't think, to be honest it would have made any difference.
The food at best was average. One evening we couldn't fathom out what the soup was. We asked four different people and they all gave different answers.
The fish goujons on Friday night were tasteless but the salmon the following day was good.

Just came back from a weekend at Seacroft holiday village, where our dance weekend was based. Overall the holiday village was well kept clean and tidy . It was a little tired and old looking but i understand that it will be having a big revamp.
The room we had was clean and well decorated. The bathroom had been cleaned but it had a leak somewhere round the shower, the floor was stained and tiles unders sink were damp and black looking. The extracter fan didnt work so the walls were running with water!
The food in the dining room on the whole was good. Although a little " school dinner like" .the salad bar was great and the puddings lovely. The breakfast was good and hot meals were nice and hot!
Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Room Tip: Best you can afford
