Had not visited since the refurbishment. Sad the skittles had gone but very pleased to see it has been replaced with a nice looking bar area. Staff were all very good, restaurant atmosphere also good. We had a set menu for Mother’s Day at £27 each for 3 courses. We had salmon, fritters, goats cheese and pate for starters, (good portion of Pate)
Mains we had cod & chips, beef and pork, all very well presented and tasty, only slight thing was could have been a little more beef (my husband and I are big eaters) Desserts were sticky toffee pudding, creme brûlée and strawberry cheesecake, all again very nice. With a bottle of wine, water and 3 soft drinks bill total was £150. I will definitely return soon for a Saturday night meal !
