A sensational menu! The meal was extremely well-presented and absolutely delicious and the staff attentive, helpful & friendly. We couldn't fault anything and would definitely recommend an evening meal there.

We stayed at this hotel and ate breakfast. We did not have dinner here but saw lots of locals eating and the food looked enticing with salads as well as steak and fries. The breakfast was very good with fresh breads, yogurt, jams, meat and cheese, cereal, and more.

I have put a good review of the hotel of which this restaurant is part.
Dinner here was well presented, good ingredient and flavours. The set menu had a good range of choices and dinner was delicious. My wife chose from the a la carte and was also impressed.
Sensible prices with wine list to match albeit there were expensive wines also listed

One of the few places actually open on a Monday evening in this part of France when we visited in early September. We drove around several of the local towns looking for somewhere for dinner on this Monday evening, because the hotel we were staying in – on half board! – was closed on Mondays. Someone really ought to let the French know that this kind of service – or lack of it – is simply not acceptable internationally, and if they don't buck up their ideas and start to realize that service means service to your clients, not your clients putting up with your restrictive practices, then France is going to disappear from the international stage completely. No-one will ever want to go there, if they're treated like this all the time.

OK, rant over, this restaurant was really quite good, if only for bucking the trend and actually opening for trade. There was a terrace for dining outside, but this is where the smokers always conglomerate, so we opted for inside, which was very comfortable. Reasonably priced menu, including two prix fixe menus, from which we chose. Good portions, hot and nicely presented, though service was a little slow, especially as there appeared to be quite a few staff and not that many customers. But, as they were prepared to open and serve the public, they get my recommendation. Starters were croute forestierre – which turned out to be mushrooms in a creamy sauce accompanied by toasted bread, hot and very tasty – and a salad of local ham and cheese with walnuts and the usual green stuff. Mains were ham (again) with cheese sauce, sauteed potatoes and salad, and a veal escalope with prosciutto and cheese, gratin potatoes and diced veg. All very hot, nicely presented, and delicious. Puds were crème brulee (standard stuff) and a vacherin, a sort of icecream cake with meringue, a huge portion, and very good it was, too. Total cost under 50 euros, with just plain water to drink.
