We really enjoyed this walk through of the Iguana recovery area. Our host Alberto is the Warden of the program and offered much insight on the history of the Blue Iguana's plight over the history of the island. If you visit the east end I highly recommend you do this before visiting the Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park.

Folks here are really knowledgeable about the blue iguana. They are working hard to bring back this incredible animal. Visiting them helps support their efforts.

Just over an hour tour. Perfect amount of time to visit with Iguanas. The gardens are nice to walk through as well. Arrive before 11am, as that is their only daily tour.

We had a personal tour of this breeding center by very friendly staff. We could handle and feed both the breeding and juvenile iguanas. Worth a visit to see the native animals of Grand Cayman and it is a change to the coast and beach

I loved this tour and learned so much about the plight of the blue iguana. I am so impressed with the results of this breeding program and the integrity of the scientists designing and carrying out this work. They have so many challenges and yet look to the future of the program and how to best serve the interdependent web of life and the blue's place in it.
