They were not blue the day we went on the tour, the cages and conditions of the breeding program area were not the most desirable. The guide was great, the idea of a re populating breeding program great, but for the price the tour was so, so. I was hoping to get great photos of these amazing creatures, but they were gray, shedding, and not blue, plus most were in cages. For the price per person for admission $30 per person I expected more and expected better conditions so just rating this a 3 and that is a stretch for me personally.

We really enjoyed this walk through of the Iguana recovery area. Our host Alberto is the Warden of the program and offered much insight on the history of the Blue Iguana's plight over the history of the island. If you visit the east end I highly recommend you do this before visiting the Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park.

Folks here are really knowledgeable about the blue iguana. They are working hard to bring back this incredible animal. Visiting them helps support their efforts.

Just over an hour tour. Perfect amount of time to visit with Iguanas. The gardens are nice to walk through as well. Arrive before 11am, as that is their only daily tour.

We had a personal tour of this breeding center by very friendly staff. We could handle and feed both the breeding and juvenile iguanas. Worth a visit to see the native animals of Grand Cayman and it is a change to the coast and beach
