Quiet hotel with car parking. Room was as you expect from Premier Inn. Tried breakfast in inn next door - didn't go back to that - food not good. Lovely coffee shop in Rainhill Village with great coffee and a good selection of food.

Recently refurbished rooms of a good standard. Not keen on the double tray shower enclosure that has replaced the bath though. The new showers that Premier Inn are putting in have an 'eco flow' filter in the head to restrict the max flow of water. I like a powerful shower and these new showers are rather feeble. Staff pleasant and helpful as usual. Plenty of free car parking. Relatively quiet residential area. Didn't eat at the attached pub. Was going to have breakfast there on the Sunday but the Chef didn't turn up for work!

Good easy check in, spotlessly clean, nice smell to the room, the bed was amazing I've never slept so good in ages. There was no noise during the evening/night at all. All the staff was really friendly. Would definitely recommend and stay at this premier Inn again.

Great stay at this Premier Inn. Went to watch Liverpool v Arsenal and Liverpool won which was a bonus. Thanks for a great stay and for recommending the pub next door. A fabulous time was had. One note to the big bosses of Whitbread, sort out the Premier Inn app as it's a load of rubbish!

We stayed here for 2 nights in half term as we wanted to go to Chester Zoo but all the premier inns in Chester were fully booked. It is very convenient for both Liverpool, Chester Zoo was only 30 mind away and also we visited Cheshire Oaks shopping outlet centre the same time. Although situated on a busy road, it is located back from the road behind a large pub so it is actually very quiet. Parking is provided free of charge and we were actually parked right outside of our room as it transpired!
The staff were really friendly and the rooms were the usual premier Inn style and very clean, although we brought drinks back from the pub to the hotel and the glasses were not collected.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone, especially as it is actually very cheap too. Excellent value for money. Although there is no restaurant in site, the pub next door (the ship, I think) is a two minute walk and does excellent evening meals. I would give the breakfast a miss though as it was very sparse.
