This was a very nice small, quiet hotel. It's in the best location on the island, but not close to the marina. The staff was very friendly, polite, informative and helpful. Could not have ask for more. As in other reviews, I agree that breakfast was not so great, but I don't think there is much better on the Island. Dinner is pricey compared to other places within walking distance, but worth it.
I would return.

This hotel was clean and in a great location. I believe most of the hotels on the island are on this same sandy road and the Iguana Crossing is at the end of the road. The included breakfast was good. We did not like our room because it is right off the hotel lobby and if you want to have your curtains open people from the pool are looking directly into your room. I also didn't like the fact that if you want to rinse off the shampoo and soap you have to hold in the water button or the water goes off every 4 seconds. So book with your eyes open.

Extremly highprice for the rooms and for the restaurant,
They doen't give the tourists from other countrys a sri-conformefactura,with this paper you can take back the 12% tax, this is absolutly not correct.I think they not pay tax and take the money for himself.is there are just 2 hotel in ecuador which I know with this taxproblems after 6 month travelling

Room Tip: Suite, beautiful sundowner from the balcony.

Dear guest

Thank you for your comments about the hotel, I want to indicate that the time you pay your hotel bill, the clerk handed him a bill, and this bill includes the taxes we pay to the government, taxes did not stay for on the other hand we have an obligation to testify.

We hope we have clarified their doubts.

Cheers

Great place to stay, clean rooms, nice pool, good bar and good food. if you like cocktails the Pina Colada is one of the best on Isabela. They know the best tour operators and can help you book any tour. I would certainly recommend them if you are travelling to the Galapagos. The airconditioning in the room is also very good and don't forget to enjoy some drinks on the roof (together with the fried shrimp or cevice)

This hotel is way overpriced for the island. Because it was much more expensive, I expected much more than we got. The staff was not helpful in upgrading my husband and I - we wound up in a room with 2 double beds on our honeymoon!!! The shower is terrible- have to buddy up in the shower because water goes off every 3 seconds- I'm all for water conservation, but come on at least give it a minute before shutting off!! The beds/room was not super clean (then again nothing really is in the galapagos). The wifi is spotty and hard to connect. The food was just ok at best. The view from balcony was nice and the one plus was that the hotel is at the end of a dirt road- so it is a little more private than other hotels. The pool looks like a nicer pool than other hotels, but we didn't use it- there's an amazing beach right out front! It just wasn't what we were looking for...after the first night we cancelled our reservation and went and stayed at the hotel Abarmale- almost 1/3 the price and just as nice with great staff!
