This was our 4th visit to the Arco Hotel as it is just perfect for our needs. We stay for 2 weeks and this year I splashed out for a junior suite. It had a sitting room with TV and air con, in addition to the bedroom, also with TV and air con, a large balcony with full sea views and a wonderful bathroom with Jacuzzi bath with shower over. Towels and sheets are changed regularly. All the staff, including the owner, are wonderful, friendly and can't do enough for you. You are greeted every time you walk past a member of staff. The breakfast is extremely good. There are plenty of choices to suit all nationalities and no limit on how much you can eat! I don't understand the complaint about the coffee. If you ask, there are other drinks available. The hotel is very close to the sea, set back from the main road, so very quiet. The gardens are lovely with mature trees for shade over sitting areas and the pool is set back in a quiet area, along with a pool bar for drinks and snacks. Plenty of sun loungers, parasols and towels too. We are already planning to go back again next year. I can't wait!

Room Tip: Ask for higher floor (2 or 3) facing the sea. Rooms at the back get a garden or pool view.

well, the arco hotel is probably a sessonal hotel because the hotel oppened just a week before our arrival
the personal was very affable.the room was comfortable but the toilet had problems like a defective shower and water leakage of niagara
situated nearby two minimarkets and a few tavernas plus bus connection with skiathos center the hotel is still an option

The owner is a terrible person! His behaviour to the guests and to the staff is the worst ever!He doesn`t care about anyone, and if the customers are disapointed and want to leave he demands cancellation fee for the room!!!The staff was friendly and helpful. But they were mishandled by the owner!thats a shame!

The hotel it is OK, but too expensive (120 Euros/night) for the conditions. Nice room, nice staff and I think the outside was also very nice 10-15 years ago.

Poor breakfast (too much "plastic" food) and the coffee was undrinkable... You should by a 3,50 capucino from the bar.

Worst hotel experience I have ever had. When we arrived at the hotel the woman at the front desk was incredibly rude, first claiming she didn't have a room, and that it was our fault because we booked online, in an exasperated voice. When she finally said she found a room, we asked to see it first as the condition of the hotel lobby looked pretty shabby as far as we could tell as all the lights were off. The room was dark, dirty and had a dank smell. When we opted not to stay, the woman did not seem surprised at all, but still tried to insist we pay the 126€ she was asking for the room. Worst experience ever. I wouldn't even stay if she paid me 126€! Outrageous!
