We've been going to Skiathos for five years, but this was our first stay at the Atrium, and we've already booked again for next year. The staff are welcoming, friendly and efficient. We had a problem with the shower in our bathroom, and within a few hours it was fixed.

We stayed on a bed-and-breakfast basis, and glad we did. The breakfast is well stocked, and consists of a hot section (ie scrambled or fried eggs, bacon, etc), a selection of breads for toasting, a continental section and cereals and fresh fruit. Even the jam and marmalade for the toast is home made. As soon as anything was running low, it was replenished.

The rooms are clean, modern and comfortable, and a massive plus for us, the beds are actually comfortable! So often on Skiathos, the beds are so hard, like sleeping on a plank, but these beds, I understand, have recently been purchased, and were really comfortable. It makes such a difference to your holiday to have a good sleep.

The staff are fantastic, the bar staff are friendly and efficient, the cleaners polite and good, the reception staff really are welcoming, and the guys manning the onsite restaurants and breakfast etc are responsive and, again, friendly. I was also pleased to see the owner, Electra, coming in every morning, just checking the breakfast buffet was up to standard, and greeting guests. She was always available, without being "in your face", and when we fed back at the end of our stay, she described her own staff as the "stars", which was good to hear her appreciation of the guys that make the magic happen.

Room Tip: We were in room 309, which overlooks the sea, and weren't disturbed by any road noise.

We've been going for 20 years and still aren't tired of the Atrium or Skiathos. As we are getting older we wondered how we would do on the steps but found that it was absolutely fine as there is never any hurry. The hotel is built 'monastery' style and is very tranquil with lots of shady areas to walk back to your room. You can have a room with your own (small) pool or Jacuzzi or not, so there are lots of choices. It's in a quieter part of the island and the beach is just across the road, albeit a bit of an uphill return walk.
The food is excellent and there is an a la carte restaurant in the hotel as well as a buffet style restaurant for evening meals. The staff are lovely and couldn't be more helpful. You can easily hire a car or there is a bus stop nearby if you want to try other beaches or the town.
We love this place.

Room Tip: Some rooms have their own pool or jacuzzi

Me and my husband stayed for 1 week in a junior suite on the 4th floor, room 409, lovely sea view from the balcony, quiet location. As others mentioned there are lots of steps but at least we got some exercise to walk off all the bread and delicious food we ate!! There are some outdoor lifts but there is still a hill to walk up from the bus stop to the hotel and walking up at least some steps is unavoidable. The buffet breakfast was plentiful with a good amount of variety, staff at the hotel all very friendly and you can see how hard working they all are. Pool area is lovely and nice drinks from the bar. We found access to aghia pereskevi beach really easy but can see it might be tricky for some guests - but it's only a short walk down the hill to easier access routes. The beach is beautiful and the sea is as clear as bath water with lots of little fish! I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again without hesitation. Top class hotel.

Having just returned from this beautiful hotel. With views to die for and hospitality that is second to none. If i was to lay fault anywhere then it would have to be it's accessibility to the local amenities and beach. This is definitely not a hotel for the faint hearted due the location high on a hill with numerous steps. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Sea view room essential

3rd time in Skiathos but definitely the best accommodation that we've been in. The Atrium is situated at the top of a very steep drive which means that the views are magnificent from most of the rooms and all the public rooms. The public rooms are all very well decorated and furnished. The pool area is clean and well maintained. The restaurant, bars, and lounge areas are all on the 6th floor so make the best of the views over the beach at Agia Paraskevi and surrounding countryside. The staff were all friendly and efficient. Our room was on the 5th floor - perfectly adequate, clean and big enough for a couple. Once again fabulous views. People considering this hotel should realise that due to the elevated positon from the road there are numerous steps or a steep drive. There are 2 lifts which access most of the floors but there are still steps to access the outside lift. There is also a hill to go down to the beach but well worth it. Really enjoyed the holiday at the Atrium.

Room Tip: Higher floors have better views and less road noise
