This is our second time here in Fiddler Lake Resort. And if you're going back for the second time at the same place, it really means something. We were lucky enough to have our chalet near the reception where there's an indoor and outdoor pool, as well as tennis courts and playground for children. You and your family won't really run out of things to do here. And don't forget the lake. Canoes and pedal boats are available to rent. Just present an ID and you're good to go, they'll provide you with life vests too. There's a time limit of 1 hour 30 minutes for each rental, which I really would like to reiterate as there are other guests who would like to rent too.

As for our chalet, I have no complaints. I still find it charming and cosy, tucked away in a wooded area, close to the lake. Would be glad to be back here next year again.

Shout out to Kari/Carrie in reception for being so patient with us. please never leave her or let alone just one person in reception during check out times as she could only do so much between reservations, rentals, check-outs, tending to the people lining up on her front desk, etc. Great job juggling all of these though, Kari/Carrie. (Or so I thought what I heard her name was). Lol.

We went there on a long week-end with a group of friends. The place is well located, not too far from Montreal.

We were on the isolated cabin (#1) which has his own deck and boat. The setting was amazing as this cabin is located at the end of a beautiful lake.

The cabin was really beautiful and spacious, even for eight people.

We loved the outdoors amenities (jacuzzi, sauna, bbq, etc. ) and the fact that everything is included (from dishwasher to towels) making the trip convenient.

When you make a reservation make sure to have one on the water front because must of them are not.

Very clean, luxurious log cabins. Layouts are excellent and lots of room for everyone. Only weird thing is they do not supply bath soap???
Close to St Sauveur, lots of great restaurants. We have been here 4-5 times, everyone really enjoys it.

Room Tip: Cottage 1 has a great view of the lake

Thanks for your comments! Your time and sharing is much appreciated.
As a resort very close to nature, we are concerned by the impact of our decisions on the environment. Out of experience, we know that offering the soaps is polluting, giving way to lots of spoiling. We made the choice to let the guests bring their own favorite soap, in the format and quantity the suits them best. It is an information that we give over the phone to everyone who reserves a chalet with us, at the moment of reservation.
We are happy to see that you enjoyed your stay over all! Looking forward to meeting with you next time!

We stayd in cabin #3 for 5 days in July 2017. Overall the cabin was very nice and comfortable and clean. The only thing that did not work was a little "barrel sauna" located in the garden. But we did not mind as the sauna was very dirty and there was a note that throwing water onto stove was prohibited ( as a Finn I can say that throwing water onto hot stones is the Thing when having a sauna).

The environment was also very nice including the lake. We saw lots of nice animals (ragoons, groundhogs) and birds (hummingbird, great northern loon etc) in the area.

However, there was lots of rules and threats in place, for me it is natural that if I break something I have to pay for it but here the feeling was more threatening. Maybe the most stupid thing was that you had to walk through reception to access the pool area and in the pool area drinking (and I mean water) was not allowed.

Overall I can recommend this place: it is not so unique and quite expensive but nice place anyway. But for me one time is enough there are other nice places by the lake as well.

I have been to Fiddler's lake resort several times, and it's simply amazing! The chalets are very well maintained, however, #87 has a destroyed BBQ, broken foosball table that is just left there. Besides these 2 minor issues on that specific chalet, it's been good every time I have been.
