Great salmon, rosemary chats, beans and bacon. My partner is vegetarian and loved the pureed pumpkin and roasted vegetables. Nice friendly atmosphere.

After reading great reviews on this restaurant we decided to eat here for dinner. We are not local to this area and relied on the reviews. So disappointing! Meals were overpriced and the fish did not taste fresh. Pork crackle was chewy and the side of potatoes were sitting in heaps of oil.

After a bit of an ordinary meal and lunch today at other venues, we wanted to find good quality dining. We found it in The Valley Restaurant. A little out of the way but it was well worth it. The food was amazing. The service is excellent. Highly recommended!

While on business in Newcastle we dined at The Valley Restaurant in Easts (East Maitland Bowling, Liesure & Golf Club).
It was superb! Far above what is normally expected in a club; this restaurant is run as an independent business, within the club building & it is a superb restaurant! The food is 5 star in my book and at medium prices.
My eye fillet was tender & juicy plus the sides were a bit quirky but had beautiful flavours. My companion had bacon wrapped chicken breast which received 4 stars. I loved the menu; you choose your main and have 2 sides to choose - this means you have the choice of a range of sides to accompany your favoured main instead of being stuck with a complete dish including sides which you may not normally choose (I hope that makes sense!)
Highly recommended and I'll be back!
