We stayed here for 6 nights and enjoyed every minute. We had a very spacious, comfortable room with a private balcony and the use of a small, well equipped kitchen. We loved sitting out watching the ducks and geese on the pond, the sheep in the field, a variety of birds on the feeders and the friendly sheepdogs.
Breakfast was a daily treat with an excellent choice (I can particularly recommend the whisky porridge!) and every afternoon we found delicious cake to accompany our cups of tea.
There are plenty of good local restaurants (including several within walking distance), but if you feel like staying in you can always heat up a microwave meal and drink the wine you put in your fridge earlier.
There is a large lounge for residents .
Sarah is a wonderful hostess and she really has thought of everything to ensure your stay is memorable. I have no hesitation in recommending this lovely bed and breakfast house.

This has got to be the absolute best b+b in the country!
Must be the 6th time we've stayed and we'll be back next year.
From the minute you arrive, where Sarah greets you with tea and cake, nothing is too much trouble for her. She is the perfect host, friendly, helpful and just so relaxed and unflappable.
The rooms are so inviting and comfortable as well as very spacious and light. We like the rooms at the back as they get the afternoon sun.
Breakfast is a delicious feast with a lovely choice of cereals and fruit. The cooked breakfasts will easily see you through till well into the afternoon. As an avid tea drinker, we like the welsh brew so much, we always buy boxes of it, from Acorn Court to bring home!
Set in a peaceful location, surrounded by an abundance of wild life, you quite often get to see Red Kites overhead.
The whole family are lovely and friendly, they all make you feel really welcome. Once again this year , there was an added bonus of cuddling some gorgeous, little collie pups again. Had to check my husbands pockets on leaving!!!
Definitely a jewel in the Welsh Crown.

Room Tip: All rooms fantastic. Back rooms get afternoon sun. There is a balcony though at front to enjoy.

Stayed here for the third time, and the standards are as high as ever with nothing too much trouble.
Sarah even offered to collect a Chinese takeaway for us and other guests one evening, which was really exceptional service.
If you want a great place to stay in the area, this is it. Big rooms, every facility, and a great welcome to boot with cake and tea on arrival and cake in your room every afternoon.
Thanks David, Margaret and Sarah, we shall be back!!

Room Tip: Any room is good, and a large lounge

Think of what you would really want in a B&B and Acorn Court surpasses it on all counts. Sarah should win awards for her hospitality and friendliness, nothing is too much trouble and really there is nothing you need that isn't already provided. Make sure you allow 15 minutes to walk off the killer breakfast, if only I had willpower and could say no to the pancakes!

Room Tip: All the rooms are good.

It is hard to find fault with this B&B - everything is so very comfortable and Sarah is an amazing hostess for whom nothing is too much trouble. To find a hot water bottle in the bed after a day of long walks was so much appreciated. And the food is outstanding. Thank you Sarah and we look forward to seeing you soon on our repeat visit.
