This resort is very old and tired. The beds are also very hard. The pool is the best thing about the place. It's also a long way from the main town. I would recommend you stay closer to town like St George.

We have stayed here before but did not like the school canteen scenario when eating.
But, while staying further up in the middle of the beach area, we did call back in here and were made welcome by the pool bar- staff we had seen before. Lunch food was very nice and reasonably priced - even if their beach chairs at 7.00 were the dearest in the area !

We got a free transfer from the port (15 mins) which was much appreciated and a great service to all guests. The room was HUGE. Biggest room I've ever had and the photos do not do it justice. We had a sort of landing with space for shoes/suitcases/towels, and then steps down to the room - and also had a HUGE balcony. Don't remember specifically booking a balcony (perhaps they all have them?), as normally go for the cheaper option. Our room was in the main building above the reception and had a view of the mountains and the sea. It was incredible. We also got a few huge pieces of fruit for free when we first arrived, as well as a mosquito plug-in and water. The bathroom had a retractable washing line to dry things which I thought was a great touch. The breakfast was also great- very varied (eggs, meats, fruit, cereal, toast, fresh bread, cereal, pastries...) and the eating area very pretty with a sea/pool view. No idea what some of the complaints on here are about, the waiters cleaned the tables within seconds of you getting up and the food was well organised and constantly replenished, The pool area was incredible and the pool cafe did nice cocktails. They also arranged for us to rent a car for our stay there (important if going to and from the port) and it was very cheap and easy.

The only negative is that the air-con was a bit old and the unit on the wall had fade so we couldn't read the numbers on the dial anymore. Even though we put it right down, we couldn't seem to get the room very cold. It was fine though, just something they should probably think about updating.

We asked for the room in the upper floor already in the agency but the hotel had no info of our request. Nevertheless they said they will inform us when some room get free but until the end of our vacation they didn't contact us whatsoever.

They put us as they said in the standard room in the ground floor, veranda facing the water pipe that cleaning lady used it every morning and passage used by the neighbor guests. Considering that it is summer and you have to open balcony, room doesn't offer any privacy. Also the shady position of the room doesn’t help to reduce the humidity...preventing to properly ventilate the room and dry beach towels or swim wear. No option to open the door in tilt state. Not to mention that the lowest balconies/verandas are ideal for night visits of the vagabond cats!...It is annoying if you want peaceful night. I wonder if all the other guest who paid for the standard room had the same ˝privilege˝.

Out of date furniture, dark coloures which make rooms smaller and dark! In comparison to other greek bathrooms/toilets we have seen in the Greece hotels, Plaza facilities are solid (at least no water leaking from the shower or floor...).

Notice also that some rooms are facing dirt dusty road and a field with horse manure...so imagine the air during windy days (which are common on Naxos).

Very working and friendly cleaning ladies!! Clean rooms, towels changing every day...

Avoid the room 106 and also other rooms which are not at least a bit elevated!!!

For the greek standards the breakfast was quite good (feta cheese, tomatoes, roasted paprika, some pastry, eggs, greek yoghurt, local fruit) but presented like you are in some factory canteen...The staff was very friendly! but still they often need "hint" from the guests to clean the tables.

Considering all services and especially environment i.e. proximity to the beach, probably one among better hotels on Naxos but still need more improvements in comparison to price (furniture of the rooms, privacy of the ground floor, breakfast).

Room Tip: Avoid the room 106 and also other rooms which are not at least a bit elevated!!!

Great Breakfast with amazing view.
The best thing about this Hotel is its location right beside the beach.
Its quiet windy though. I also missed having beach umbrellas at the beach only for hotel guests. (You habe to pay extra)
The rooms where clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Great stay.
