Great place to stay. The staff are very welcoming. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was lovely and clean. We sat out on the front patio, and found everyone very friendly. The breakfast was superb, and served in lovely surroundings. We are so glad we found this place, and will return next time we are in the area. Superb service, Super clean, superb comfy beds, what more could you ask for?

Iam so often disappointed in the quality of steaks served in pubs and The Bulls Head has restored my faith that public houses can serve great meat, the steaks I have had on two different occasions have been absolutely wonderful cooked to perfection tender tasty and excellent friendly service accompanied by great beer.

There special offer of two for one on many main meals cannot be beaten and the all the food is very well prepared so give yourself a treat and order one of their amazing steaks, many thanks The Bulls Head Andy.

Thank you Andy for such a wonderful review. We at The Bulls Head endeavour to serve our customers with really great quality home cooked food. Our 2 for 1 offer is a genuine offer without cutting any corners or compromising on quality.
We look forward to welcoming you again.

We arrived to stay at this inn and whilst the staff were friendly, the overall impression was disappointing. We had booked two rooms and both had poor furniture and fittings. The wardrobe in one room was virtually falling apart. We did ask to eat in the restaurant but were put of by the plastic coated menu and freezer based offerings. Instead we managed to get a late booking at the pub opposite and had a good meal.

What a very strange review? All of our rooms have recently been refurbished and your comments are not consistent with other reviews. All of our food is freshly prepared and home cooked and certainly not freezer based offerings. Again our restaurant reviews clearly verify this.

We had stopped here for a drink before and decided to return and on a lovely Sunday afternoon and just stay the night as a last minute retreat. The pub is very nicely placed in the village, with a quirky layout and nice interior. Management could not be friendlier or do anymore to make our stay more enjoyable.
We played pool with the family and lovely few regular locals on the evening, though unfortunately we lost!
The room was lovely, traditional style. My partner thought the bed was very comfortable. Excellent value for money.
Breakfast was absolutely delicious, although it's not stated anywhere whether it's included during booking, on the web or in the room. Nor was a charge mentioned when our food order was taken, so maybe worth addressing instead of suddenly at check out!
Overall thank you all for an enjoyable stay, we will definitely be back.

Stopped here off the cuff on a lovely Sunday afternoon and decided to stay the night the pub is very nicely done out but it’s main assets was mr and mrs manager nothing was too much trouble for these guys we interacted with the pool on the evening and met a few regulars who also were an asset to the place unfortunately we never won I was let down by my partner she even used the wrong end of the cue ! Thank you all for an enjoyable evening will definitely be back in the near future well done
