After walking around for awhile we finally decided to try ten crows. We were a little hesitant since we are from Texas and wanted to try something different and not like we have at home. The food and service was great. There were 6 of us and had no issues getting in late. we enjoyed the music as well. Okra was delicious and so was our food. Collard greens were awesome. i would DEFINITELY try.

My husband, his uncle and I had dinner at ten crows. We ordered ribs, turkey, mac and cheese and beans. We ended up only getting two meals and splitting it between the three of us. We even had leftovers. The ribs were very good! The beans and mac and cheese were very good too. I liked the turkey but the ribs were my favorite. I ordered a second drink and I think the server forgot because it took about 12 minutes for him to bring it out and it wasn't very busy. I didn't think it was a big deal, he apologized for the wait when he did bring it out. Ive waited tables and I know whats its like to get side tracked and forget something. We will be eating here again the next time we visit Tahoe!

We found most of the restaurants in SLT to be very busy and usually had people waiting for tables so we were happy when we stumbled upon this place which had quite a few spare tables. We were a family party of 8 and dined outside even though it was rather chilly, the inside dinning area wasn't really very appealing.
We ordered drinks which took forever to arrive and when they did arrive there was two drinks missing, after waiting 5 minutes we asked the waitress where the other two drinks were and she told us that they have ran out of prosecco......Why didn't they explain this to us when we ordered?! Or even when they served us the other drinks?! My wife's drink wasn't what she had ordered, in fact she couldn't distinguish what it was!
After browsing the menu for 20 minutes we had to call the waiter over to order only to be told that there was no ribs or brisket! Why wasn't this explained to us when we first received the menus?!
We had chicken wings to start as a shared dish, these were ok. Unfortunately when the main dishes arrived the finished starter plates were still on the table so we played a game of moving dirty plates around our table! We then went to tuck into our main meals and realised we had forks but no knives. After waiting a couple of minutes with no passing waiters or waitresses we went to the bar to collect the knives....
Not one person finished there main meal. The chopped pork was tasteless, the chicken was extremely dry, the cheese grits was more like baby food, the slaw was drowned in vinegar and the catfish wasn't even edible.
We didn't ask to look at the sweet menu, we couldn't wait to leave. This was one of the worst dinning experiences I have experienced. The staff were friendly but they obviously have no experience or training. The food overall was very bad.
In the U.K. I certainly wouldn't have left a tip and would have complained to the management.
We obviously won't be visiting Ten Crows again, you've been warned.

Loved their food! Very casual place that is part of Hotel Beckett. Signage isn't that good so look for hotel so you don't miss it. We both had brisket sandwich and it was very tasty and tender. My husband paid extra to get the mac and cheese as his side and it stole the show. It was the best we've ever had! Loaded with tasty cheese and was a huge portion. They also have delicious sweet tea for the southerner at heart. Great new restaurant in South Lake Tahoe.

The food was flavorless and seemed to have sat for a while...it came out super fast by the way. The service was even worse. There were two hosts that basically just sat on their phones the whole time. They never refilled our drinks and made faces as if they were being bothered when asked for service. The server had her cell phone in her back pocket and kept checking it and came to our table once after our food arrived. Either the management doesn't care about the experience of their guests or have no clue that their employees don't care much about their job. Sadly, leaving South Lake in general, we didn't get the sense that it was a friendly place. The one good thing was the band on Monday night outside on the grassy area. I am not sure if this restaurant is ran by hotel management, but again, someone needs to manage these employees better. Walking through the area the next morning looked like the morning after a frat party...beer cups, trash, and even plates from the restaurant still out all over the tables and grass. It was gross and looked like the staff/management don't care about keeping Tahoe clean.
