St Andrews Beach Brewery
Ranked #1 of 3 Restaurants in Fingal
Price range: US$7 - US$22
Description: St Andrews Beach Brewery calls a 92-acre property on the Mornington Peninsula home. In the mid-2000’s the property was a working race horse training facility housing up to 80 thoroughbred horses and featured its own 1200m grassed training track. After a significant facelift , the centre of the old horse training facility is where you’ll find a truly unique brewery. The former boxes that were once home to some incredible racing pedigree have been converted into sitting areas. Visitors can now relax in a past Melbourne Cup winners box while enjoying freshly brewed characterful beers, something to eat and even better conversations.

Would not have visited other than by a recommendation from the staff at the Arthur’s seat gondola ride. Pizza was fantastic and the home brewed beer was superb. Kids loved it and plenty of space in the stables. A great setup and will be back.....particularly the stout beer.

We discovered this venue while driving in the region and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Staff were welcoming and accommodating and the venue was busy for a Monday afternoon. The pork belly pizza and sweet potato chips were delicious and hearty. Highly recommend a visit.

What a fantastic venue, being a converted stable property & now a brewery. The individual stables are now private booths, with the central walking area, now the outdoor beer garden. Despite the beautiful surroundings, it doesn't attract beautiful people. With fairly average beer, it attracts the bogan/uneducated crowd just looking to get smashed. Food was ok, but the service was a little disorganised. We were disappointed after looking forward to visiting St Andrews.

Went late afternoon on a cold, wet day. Had pizza and chips near the fire. Draught drinking boyfriend liked “the strapper”. Sav Blanc very drinkable. Would like to go again, earlier in the day and in better weather to make the most of the quirky stall set up.

My husband and I decided to try our luck here on a cold, winters, wet day. Bookings can only be made for groups of 6 plus, so we were lucky to squeeze in between 2 groups on a long table. My husband enjoyed a craft beer whilst I, a local red. We chose the burgers and chips for lunch - the Wagyu beef and pulled pork. Both came out promptly and were tasty. Given the number of people, the service was really prompt.
We are looking forward to going back with a group and booking one of the outside stable areas. Looked to be good fun !! Apparently this was Lee Freedmans stable/ training ground prior to its conversion into the brewery.
