Sandringham House itself was disappointing as there was nothing different from any other stately home . however , the Museum was very interesting and contained toy cars made for Prince Charles and RollsRoyces plus other cars used by the royals on and off the estate. There wasalso crokery andother vartifacts plus info on the current Royal Family. As you would expect purchasing food and drink on the estate was pricey. A good number of people brought their own food . Parking at the estate is free . Thee grounds ad garden are well looked after and there was someting to do for all the family.

We visited the Sandringham Estate a couple of weeks ago. Surprised to see the many walks that can be enjoyed on the Sandringham Estate without actually paying to go in the grounds etc.
We decided to visit the grounds and the museum and left out the house, we were not disappointed. The grounds are lovely and you can spend time walking quietly around. We came across the "graves" of the Queens Corgis...including Susan...lovely.
We enjoyed the museum, very informative, visited the café (stables) and we were served quickly by friendly girls.
Of course at with all "stately homes" there is the inevitable shop(s)...this one was lovely, although a little expensive, but worth a look. We enjoyed an ice cream...plenty of up market flavours. Yes we enjoyed our visit to Sandringham and can recommend, although as I said we did not visit the house.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, the grounds are beautiful and very well kept and the house very interesting. We took the time to look at as much as possible and listen to stories by the staff who have much to tell about the royal family. It’s great to be offered the opportunity to visit a royal residence.

There is no charge to park your vehicle or go into the country park, but because of this it does get extremely busy. We we’re actually glad to pay the entrance fee and enjoy the grounds in peace!

This was my second time visiting Sandringham and my parents' first visit. We all loved it. It is one of my favorite royal palaces. The grounds are incredible and I love seeing the church as well. Highly recommend a visit here.

I visited the house with my daughter. The rooms we were able to visit were amazing but because it is a 'lived in' house it is more restricted than other Royal residences I have seen. The volunteers in the house brought things to life and were on hand to add details and answer questions. They were very approachable. The museum was very informative and the coaches and cars were interesting to see and read about..
