It is rare to find such quality at such modest prices in the hills south of Bologna. It is in a place beloved by one of the greatest painters from Bologna, Giorgio Morandi, who lived here and who painted the local farmhouses and the local landscape. Lots of fresh porcini mushrooms and crisp polenta, tagliatelle with nettles and a variety of sauces (real Bolognese, mushroom). Good local salami, and fresh seasonal poultry.
Fried sage leaves and excellent vegetables at 3-4 Euros. This is a family-run place and the cook is attentive to detail, the quality of the food is excellent, and the service is the best you can find, friendly, accommodating (you can ask to modify dishes according to your needs). The local wines, especially Sangiovese are also very good and moderately priced. They deserve all possible success.
