We spent a whole day on Grouse Mountain. There was plenty to keep us occupied on the mountain. We enjoyed watching the bears feeding and sleeping. We also enjoyed the lumberjack show. It was very entertaining. We went on the chair lift. The views from the top were really good, as the cloud had finally started to lift. The bird of prey display was good too.

Young kids enjoyed it especially the lumber jack show and bird show. Cable cars were great and the view was just unbelievable. Staff nice and was a hot hot day at the top! We spent about 4 hours here . More for the older kids as zip wires etc has weights restrictions but we loved every minute of it. Bears , birds and views of beautiful Vancouver !!!!

The Grouse Grind was a toughish hike up to the top of Grouse Mountain.

You don't have to hike you can take a Gondola if you wish to save those legs.

Too around 90 minutes to reach the top at a steady pace.

Once we reached the top we ate in the Peak Chalet restaurant.

I had the burger and this was very tasty.

Then we went to the bird show and saw eagles and Owls flying around with trainers but the best was yet to come!

Grizzly Bears! It was a hot day and we thought we may not see them but we ended up seeing both bears pottering around.

The views were great!

Loved Grouse Mountain!

Recommend to others. (It's forbidden to walk down the Grouse Grind, so make sure you really commit before starting the hike, if your unsure use the Gondola - 90 minutes steep uphill is not for everyone).

The exercise was good. However, with all the steps put in, it's not really hiking in nature anymore like how I remember it 20 years ago. The end part was a bit disappointing. There should be a sign that says, "you made it" or something like " you just climbed... So many meters, etc". I think it would feel more like an accomplishment then.

I did this hike when I was here on holiday and words cannot describe my first time doing a hike, I made a mistake of wearing jeans which didn't help me at all. This mountain is very tall. Warning for first timers you will keep climbing and climbing then you will the sign that says 1/4 meaning after all that you are only a quarter of the way through and at this point I recommend thinking deeply if you want to continue because when you reach the half way point you cannot come back down due to health and safety. On arrival at the top it is stunning and extremely misty because you are literally in the middle of the clouds (unless its clear sky) and there is also an eating place well.
