We stayed here for a weekend. The staff were very helpful, both at checking in and when we had a couple questions from time to time. Plenty of parking.
The main room was clean and spacious; the bathroom was a little snug. Bed was very comfortable. Air conditioner worked very well. Microwave and mini-fridge included. Breakfast included (small dining room off the lobby), with the usual choices (scrambled eggs or omelettes, sausage or bacon, toast, fruits, cold cereal, etc.). Everything else was fine.
The location is very good. There's a Tim Horton's right next door, and it's about a 10-minute walk to the main drag just north of the hotel. Plenty of restaurants there, so walking out for supper was easy (no driving required).
On one of the days I had to go downtown for a meeting, took the bus to the nearest SkyTrain station (Surrey) and the SkyTrain from there all the way downtown. Took aobut 1.5 hours each way, but it was still better, and far cheaper, than driving. Easily worked out the routes, times, and fares on the TransLink web site before I left.
The room price was higher than it should have been, but that's the hard reality of higher demand for rooms in summertime in the lower mainland (low Canadian dollar and many American tourists).
I'd be happy to stay here again, if the need arose.More
