Long time Hilton Honors member who came to this hotel to spend a couple of days on a girls' shopping trip for my friend's birthday. The price was right and our front desk greeter was pleasant. As with many places these days, there was clearly a staffing shortage. We were given a room on the 5th floor and it was well maintained. The bathroom barn door was a bit weird...slid across...can't get into bathroom when someone is in the closet but, oh well. The shower stall was huge, strangely set up, and a bit slippery but again, passable. There were adequate towels and toiletries...FOR ONE DAY. The beds were ok, although squeaky and creaky. The breakfast was good and staff in the bar and eating area were friendly and helpful. We were out exploring on the second day and left a note and tip on the bed for the cleaning staff...apparently, there is none. We came back to find our room in the same condition. After making our own beds, we went to the front desk with two requests...towels, and water for the second night. I then noticed a sign that said there'd be no room maintenance for longer stays unless there were requests. It would have been good to be informed of this upon check in. Nonetheless, we were given towels and told we were not entitled to more water. Seriously? We went to the bar and enjoyed a drink while chatting with an extremely personable young woman bar tender. Under the circumstances, perhaps our room should have been slightly discounted for the second night. The stay was ok but nothing special. We're pretty easy going and made our own fun, but I can see where some guests would be more disappointed at this lesser Hilton experience.
