We stopped here for lunch en route to Algonquin Park as we have food allergies and this restaurant offers Vietnamese, Thai and Chinese cuisine (our kids are usually safe with Vietnamese food). We were surprised to find this very authentic Asian restaurant in this small town. They make their peanut sauce and marinades from scratch and make everything fresh so there is a sign when you enter warning you that good food takes time to make. It was a reasonable wait and the food was worth it. Since they make everything themselves, they know which things have what food allergens and are sensitive to allergies. Since they are so far from Ottawa, they do use more local vegetables in their dishes (not much eggplant for instance, and lots of peppers/peas). We liked that we could eat Thai inspired dishes while other had Vietnamese and both were equally authentic. We liked it so much we ate there after our week at Algonquin heading home.
