I just completed my 3rd stay yesterday in the past couple of months at this beautiful property. It is now my hotel of choice when I visit Kitchener. All staff are very friendly and helpful during my entire stay including Lyndon, Marg, Janet, Sergio, Felix and Jasna. There are others but I couldn't remember all the times. Lyndon, if my LBJ ( Lyndon Baines Johnson) jokes get tiresome please let me know. I arrived in Kitchener on Saturday without making a reservation and upon my arrival they were sold out. ( It was Canada Day weekend). Sergio, Jasna and Felix asked me to take a seat and they would do their best to see if a room could be made available and " voila " a room was found after not too long. I enjoyed the delicious Doubletree Chocolate Chip Cookies. ( very popular with other guests as well) The room as always is very well appointed with full amenities and toiletries, good quality TV, mini-fridge, mini-safe, a desk to eat and do work, good quality mattress, very clean room. My room had a microwave oven but unsure if this is standard I each room. Great free wifi. I had a very restful sleep. I was accommodated early checkin/ late checkout and no extra charge Parking is free Staff is super friendly with great sense of humour and I enjoyed interacting with them . There is a very pleasant atmosphere in this hotel and I notice other guests with smiles on their faces enjoying the ambience.

I enjoyed the breakfast buffet and also had dinner. As a Hilton Honors Diamond member breakfast was complimentary but for those who are not I believe the charge is quite reasonable

The fitness room was perfectly adequate with a couple of cardio machines as well as a set of dumbells, benches and other equipment. For those who need a full service gym there are several closeby. There is a pool although I didn't use.

There is a large shopping mall within walking distance as well as other restaurants etc.More
