This is a sold place to stay in downtown Kitchener. Hotel is clean, rooms are nice, central to everything.
We stayed here for a wedding that we went to over at the Walpur a block away. We got two rooms here for the same cost as one over there. All you are doing is sleeping in your room anyway so this place was good for that.
Didn’t use the pool or bowling alley so I can’t comment on that.
As said, the rooms were nice, hotel well kept. It has what appears to have been multiple additions over the years, which makes it a bit of a maze in parts. If you have mobility issues, I’d recommend asking for a room near an elevator.
There is a lounge near the lobby, my brother in law and I went to go for a drink and watch some tv there while our wives got ready for the wedding, but they closed in the afternoon until 4:30, doesn’t make much sense to me.
Again, if you’re looking for a decent, clean and affordable place to stay downtown, this is a solid choice.
