We had a great time in a two bedroom chalet at this resort. The room was clean and the kitchen well equipped. although the resort was full with lots of vacationers, the unit had lots of privacy with the way it was situated to the other units. The room was quiet and there was no noise from other units. The pool and spa area was excellent and the grand children had a wonderful time there. This resort is situated right across the road from Blue Mountain Village with it's shops and eating establishments and also a local golf course. We plan to return next year! Excellent accommodation in a great location!

Our whole family stayed in a 5 bedroom chalet for March break! 4 grandparents, 6 kids and 4 grandkids. We found it very clean and comfortable and there was a great view of Blue Mountain. Chalets are within walking distance of Blue Mountain Village. I loved the kitchen which was well equipped and the long table beside the windows easily accomodated all of us; all in all a good experience. I would stay here again and highly recommend.

We had a great time for a summer wedding, the Spa was awesome and the food great, dancing was so much fun and the room was decorated in red and white. The wedding was performed just beside where the banquet room was.

3 Bedroom Townhouse at Blue Mountain was steps away from the the ski hills. Had a group of 10 people and lots of room to move around. Full Kitchen was excellent for making meals after a long day of Skiing. Check-In was easy and everything was explained well by the staff of where to park etc. Skiing was great as you can walk to the hills with your skiing gear as it is a 5 minute walk. Also within walking distance to shops and restaurants in the village. Sauna in the town home was great after a long day on the slopes. Hot Tub/Spa and outdoor pools are available to all visitors at Blue Mountain Resort Hotels which was a great thing to do at night. Overall great getaway and highly recommend for larger groups.

We were planning to spend a christmas holiday (24th-27th) over at blue mountains but we had to leave one day earlier. we rented one of the largest chalets in their portfolio and the chalet has six bedrooms, of which two bedroom and a sofa bed in the basement, three bedrooms on the ground floor and one ensuite on the top floor. POSITIVES: 1) A reminder - we received an email on the check-in date around 6pm saying our chalet is ready and instructions where to pick up the key 2) reps at the check-in counters were nice and friendly. NEGATIVES: 1) NO BED SHEET AND PILLOW CASE - horrible and dirty pillow and bare mattress (obviously the chalet is NOT ready). We've asked the rep before heading over about the housekeeping matter and we were told they cleaned the room after every guests, but it didn't appear to me the way what they described to me. The pillows were brownish, mattress mat were yellowish and the quilts were smelly! 2) NO HEAT IN THE BASEMENT UNITS. I called to the front desk and a gentleman answered with unfriendly tone. A maintenance gentleman showed up at our chalet with three portable heaters and told us that the heat in the basement was never being hooked up. (how could that be possibly passed by Canadian Hostelling Association? THIS IS NEEDED TO REPORT). You CANNOT turn on the three portable heaters at the same time because the circuit breakers kept tripping (this is a fire hazard !!!). 3) Additionally, they brought only three sets of pillow case, bedsheets and some bath towels, but we have six bedrooms! 4) This is not a qualified or worthy of staying chalet for Christmas or any other activities destination. 5) We had a rough and disappointed holiday ever!

Room Tip: Just don't come here

I personally took a call from this guest who raised issues about heat in the lower level bedrooms. He stated there was no heat and no air ducts. I immediately sent maintenance over with heaters in the event the furnace was not working. It turned out there are heating ducts throughout the property and it was just the guests felt it wasn't warm enough. its unfortunate we are unable to post pictures to this review, but I have solid evidence this property has proper heating ducts throughout the property. We left the extra heaters for them to ensure they were comfortable with more heat.

As for the linens and sheets. It is clearly listed on our website which properties are supplied with linens and towels - full service- and which properties guests need to bring their own order them extra from us. This guest did not order them and did not bring their own. So again as a show of good faith we supplied them at no additional cost.

While our staff was in the property adding the heaters and linens, no other issues or concerns were raised until we were notified of this review.

This property has been inspected by the Town's building and bylaw department as part of the Town wide rental licensing bylaw. If there was no heat in the property the Town would not have granted a license to operate this property.

Its unfortunate this guest did not enjoy their stay, but we feel we did everything to satisfy their needs.
