Hardest mattress ever lousy water pressure. Wierde smell we couldn't define. Service staff completely unresponsive to complaints. Stayed 3 nights and room NEVER cleaned or bed made. Cleaning staff MUSt have been on vacation. Supposed to have been family owned and operated but had to BEG for toilet paper. I've stayed many places cheaper and had MUCH better rooms and service. I REALLY wish I could rate minus 5. NEVER stay here ever NOT worth an hours stay even if you want a one night stand. TEAR it down. I've NEVER experienced a motel you need to clean your own room or make own bed. And I've travelled A LOT. TEAR IT DOWN

my experience was horrible, didn't feel safe and secure, locks were broken doors wouldn't shut, moldy smell, mad decay in the washroom, leaky taps nothing to cook food with.... they say there's a barbeque, but never any propane because there so cheap and the old Pakistani with the stinky big gray beard kept on hitting on my mom ...... to everyone that is thinking about staying there please do yourself a favour and go to mariner motor hotel at least the lady there is really nice and its not far from grocery stores bars etc....

Room Tip: plain and simple stay away negative cockroaches!!>>>> the family

Absolutely terrible and unfriendly service. I was made to feel like I was being done a huge favour for being allowed to stay in this truly the substandard motel.

The room stank so bad that even with the windows open it was difficult to sleep. There are better options out there for your money. Search them out.

We were so lucky to stumble upon this cheap but wonderful motel. The location is really convenient for the longest freshwater beach in the world at Wasaga Beach. It took 15 minutes to drive there and we had 2 amazing days there. But what really made our stay was the hospitality and care of the owners. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed warmly and our room was excellent. It has been freshly decorated & think this is true of each room. Each room has 2 porch lounge chairs. At the front they have a beautiful garden which have been grown and planted by the owners. There is also a swing and slide play area. In addition they have erected a pergola in a space with a modern BBQ and seating. It was all beautifully done with lots of care. Very kindly, because we are travelling for 6 months, the owner also did laundry for us. They provided us with ice and other extras that we didn't have. We booked for 2 nights and stayed for an extra night because it was so good. If you want a cheap hotel with great owners and warm hospitality in a location that gives you access to beaches I recommend this very highly. BTW if you go to Wasaga Beach park at Beach 2. Beach 1 is a bit like Blackpool but Beach 2 has shaded areas with pic nic tables and a cool breeze :-)

We found our room to be adequate. The bathroom had recently been renovated and was up to date. Furniture in the room was of the thrift store design. The bed frame was of raw wood and one of the walls had been recently plastered but not painted. There were no amenities in the room such as plastic glasses, Kleenex and ice or ice bucket but when we asked the owners they were very very accommodating in providing us ice and glasses. The room and bathroom were very very clean. We did not see any bed bugs! (I checked!). Unfortunately though, as we were pulling out of the driveway, we saw a garbage dumpster completely full and spilling onto the ground. Did not leave a last good impression!

Room Tip: Book a room away from the main office as their are strong odours from the owners cooking!
