Cheryl is the epitome of what a bed and breakfast hostess should be. She tends to the needs of her property, and then tends to yours, ensuring that your stay is memorable and comfortable.

She accommodated our baby and made us a to-go breakfast when we had to leave for the airport at 4 am. Only a person with a massive caring heart would even think of such things. She went well and beyond caring and hospitality, and for that our family is eternally grateful.

You will not regret your stay at Chambers Guest House.

We wanted to have a rest before heading over to Newfoundland so we booked at the Chamber's Guest House. Cheryl is a great host. We enjoyed our room and looking at the antique furniture and interesting decor. Our breakfast was delicious and we had a lot of variety. The egg cups were delicious and I wish my stomach was larger because of the selection! Homemade waffles, homage maple syrup, homemade scones... all so good!
We knew going into the booking that we had a shared bathroom. It's okay if you simply need a rest stop but in the future I will be looking for private bathrooms only. It's nice to have your own space and not have to plan showers, etc.

Beautiful rooms, lovely hostess and Amazing Breakfast that started with a fresh fruit yogurt granola cup with fresh hot biscuits. 3 types of waffles with her own maple syrup, homemade jams, wine, etc.

Room Tip: room 4 has its own bathroom

Cheryl welcomed us after the ferry ride from Newfoundland along with another couple who had also just arrived. She took time to check in the other couple and show them their room, before attending to us. She took great care in ensuring we had everything we needed. We asked about restaurants in town and recommended a small bistro which we walked to and totally enjoyed our meal.

We had already advised her that unfortunately we had to leave early in the morning and had requested a light breakfast to make it easier for her. After a most restful sleep we were up and showered by 6.45 only to find that Cheryl had prepared an amazing full breakfast of fruit salad, juice, scones, coddled eggs, waffles and other fruit breads. All of which were home made. The home is quite old and full of antique furnishings and China etc., most interesting. Also, must mention the garden which was an amazing display of numerous flowers and plants, making for a most welcoming appearance. Obviously would not hesitate to recommend, or stay here again. One thing I must add is just how reasonable the rates are and excellent value. Thank you so much Cheryl..
