The hosts were charming & thoughtful down to the smallest of details. The rooms were cozy & eclectic, ours had a private deck overlooking a beautiful garden. The 5 o'clock wine & appies were a wonderful & thoughtful unexpected surprise. Breakfast is incredible!! Eggs to die for!!! You won't be dissapointed!! Highly reccommend this wonderful place!!

Cheryl is extremely welcoming and her guest house has an old world charm The rooms are large and spacious with comfy cozy beds and pillows. Each room is decorated with beautiful antiquities. A special surprise of a snack ( the smoked salmon dip and crackers was exceptional) and beverage when we arrived. The gardens were an added bonus where we could relax after a long day of travel with a cold beverage and a snack. Cheryl had many suggestions for dinner that were just a short walk away. The Black Spoon Bistro had the best gluten free Cajun seafood pasta I've ever eaten.

The breakfast was extraordinary delicious. I have a gluten intolerance and Cheryl ensured I had plenty of choices. There were so many choices that it was challenging to choose which to try first. The bacon wrapped poached eggs with Swiss cheese and the balsamic cilantro tomato chutney was sublime.

This B and B is amazing....it's like going back in time! The grandeur of this house and it's owner Sheryl are unbelievable . The breakfast that was served from fresh fruit with yoghurt to great jam, freshly cooked pastries! YUMMY! The beds where very comfortable. If your looking for a great restaurant I recommend the Black spoon....excellent sea food (Cajun ) and excellent Maple curry!

Cheryl is the epitome of what a bed and breakfast hostess should be. She tends to the needs of her property, and then tends to yours, ensuring that your stay is memorable and comfortable.

She accommodated our baby and made us a to-go breakfast when we had to leave for the airport at 4 am. Only a person with a massive caring heart would even think of such things. She went well and beyond caring and hospitality, and for that our family is eternally grateful.

You will not regret your stay at Chambers Guest House.

We wanted to have a rest before heading over to Newfoundland so we booked at the Chamber's Guest House. Cheryl is a great host. We enjoyed our room and looking at the antique furniture and interesting decor. Our breakfast was delicious and we had a lot of variety. The egg cups were delicious and I wish my stomach was larger because of the selection! Homemade waffles, homage maple syrup, homemade scones... all so good!
We knew going into the booking that we had a shared bathroom. It's okay if you simply need a rest stop but in the future I will be looking for private bathrooms only. It's nice to have your own space and not have to plan showers, etc.
