The rooms are quite nice beds are very good, tv and internet very good. The problem is the train blows it's whistle at 422am rolls you right out of bed in a hurry. They supply earplugs but that train is loud. $150/night not really worth it

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately the train passing by is something that we have no control over, and can be a nuisance to some guests who are not anticipating it. We do our best to let people know at the time of booking or if you have booked online we do try to phone and let you know in advance. The ear plugs are our friendly way of assisting guests who may need a bit of extra help sleeping through the noise. Again, please accept my regrets and I hope you will give Prestige Hotels and Resorts another opportunity to win back your trust.”

Great place to stay in Nelson..The Prestige is always awesome!
King room with a view of he park & water. They welcome dogs and
its a super nice place for a week or weekend get away. Plus
you can use all the amenities down at the water front Prestige.
Cant beat Happy Hour at the West Coast Grill.

Room Tip: Ask for the water side view

Hotel and room looked average at first glance. Small window with a nice view. Free parking. Lady at the front desk was welcoming and nice. She warned us about the train at night but it was (even with earplugs) worse than expected. After it passed with horn and everything we were wide awake and unable to catch our sleeps afterwards. Something the hotel probably can't help but nonetheless very annoying. Something they could help was the state of the bathroom though. The toilet was very dirty the day we came in. We thought at first that the porcelain was damaged but after the routine of the cleaning lady the stains were gone. Very very gross. Two stars at its best.

Thank you for your feedback. I very much regret that you had a negative experience at our hotel. Unfortunately the train passing by is something that we have no control over, and can be a nuisance to some guests. I do apologize that the bathroom was not kept up to our normally high standards of cleanliness. I have spoken to our housekeeping team and this should not be an issue again. Again, please accept my regrets and I hope you will give Prestige Hotels and Resorts another opportunity to win back your trust.”

Came for 2 nights and when we checked in we’re told the hotel was pretty much empty. Yet they put us in the very first room next to the front desk, elevator, and cleaning closet. Room is small and cramp, tiles in the bathroom of room 116 are popping up in the bathroom, and there appeared to be blood behind the sink faucet. You do get breakfast coupons for the restaurant at the other Prestige on the water, which has a great breakfast.

Stayed for 2 nights in a king room with a balcony. The view was great and the evening sun was great on the deck. The room was clean and they left a small snack pack in our room with chips chocolate and hot cocao. The price was resonable and you can enjoy the amenities at the other prestige and breakfast there, its a short walk.
