As the result of numerous mechanical breakdowns and bad luck we found ourselves arriving late at the marina/resort when the starter failed on the truck ... stuck in Brown's Bay with the boat still on the trailer (could think of far worse places for that to happen, tho'). The staff and even other guest were all extremely helpful; they launched our boat, Barb extended our stay until the truck could be fixed and all were so friendly that it turned, what could have been, a terrible weekend into a fantastic long weekend! We stayed in the Nautical Suite; it is a well appointed "hotel room" style with everything a couple could need in the full kitchen, has a comfortable bed and is quiet at night. All the staff were super! Barb and Neil run one hell of a show and every one of their staff (resort and marina) had brought their "A" game to work each and every day. Highly recommend this resort.

Room Tip: Poor cell service - put a few dollars on your Skype account so you can call on WiFi.

We have heard a lot of great things about the restaurant and looking on line, we wanted to check this place out. It was nothing like what we had expected. The restaurant is like a run down family restaurant. It did have a good view and was floating and in an amazing location, which was great but definately not what we expected indoors
We waited at least 10 minutes before someone came to our table and there was only one other table in the restaurant
Once we were waited on, the server was not friendly and not very attentive.
The food though--was amazing.
But unfortunately the service for us outweighed the food, so will more than likely not return

Very clean, nicely laid out RV park. There are 2 levels; we stayed on the upper level, which was not beachfront, but had an outstanding panoramic view of Seymour Narrows and the marina. It's fun to watch all the marine traffic, including cruise ships on their way to Alaska. All the sites have level concrete pads and full hookups, including wifi and TV if desired. There are also cabins and "glamping" tents available for rent. There is a clubhouse and hot tub for guests to use, a communal fire pit (no fires allowed in campsites) and a fishing pier. There is a kid's play area, but in our opinion this is a more adult-oriented place. There's a floating restaurant at the marina, which we found very good. There's about 5 km of gravel road into the resort, but they do provide a truck/RV wash if desired. Friendly staff; we'll definitely be back.

We stayed in the RV part of the resort. Had a lovely back-in site with a view of the strait. Cruise ships with dolphins in their wake, barges full of all sorts of exciting cargo, eagles, seals. It was a great week. Laundry was clean, rec room had all sorts of games, plus a hot tub on the deck. We certainly would return.
