Recently had the depleasure of staying at the gananoque super 8 . Went for a one night stay and was discussed by the room the smells and the mold had to leave at 5am . Anyone thinking of going to Gananoque for a mini holiday stay clear of the super 8 its a real hole. Filed complaint with no resolve.
This once quaint Country Squire Inn is now a rundown, dirty, broken hotel with poor front office customer service and their prices are 25% higher than the 2 hotels just steps away.
I loved the hotel, this is in a very quite place away from the rush. The breakfast was good. The amenities can be upgraded a bit, for example the Gym, tennis courts. The site map behind the door was slightly wrong than the actual places.
Wrong room booked, 2 ice machines broken, over charged, amenities broken or need of repair!
Hallways smell mildew, building in bad need of repair!
