Scam Alert!
When we arrive home after our visit, I noticed several texts from my credit card provider for charges related to our Hotel stay. One amount was the agreed price and the other was 30 dollars higher.
I called the Hotel to ask why I was charged 30.00 dollars more than the agreed amount and was told that there was a Pillow missing from the bed and I was being charged for it. I disputed the theft and the Manager said He would call me back when He checked our room. He did call back within an hour to inform Me that he had found the missing pillow and apologized for the error telling me that to expect a refund within 3 to 5 days. I have seen no such refund after 11 days.
The whole incident looks very suspicious to Me, I the Maid made up the room after we left, HOW could the manager find the missing pillow tangled in the bed covering? Is this a SCAM where unsuspecting clients are charged for supposedly missing items and assume most people never scrutinize their purchases? How many times has the same thing happened at this Hotel?
