We recently stayed at the Kennedy Inn for one night at the end of our 2 week East Coast Vacation. We arrived in the rain and upon check in learned that they had upgraded us to the King Room with a view - she had remembered when I phoned to book that I really wanted a King Bed but had booked a Queen since I also really wanted a water view. The room was beautiful, on the front of the building, overlooking main Street with a view of the waterfront. THe bed was comfy, the room was clean and we loved the access to the balcony which was open to everyone but we were the only ones using it. Our room also had a small kitchenette. The Inn has an elevator for ease with luggage but the staircase is beautiful to use. The Inn is convenient to downtown and the shops and to the wharf, whale watching, and many restaurants. Also only a few minutes drive to Ministers Island (Definately worth a visit). We had dinner at the Inn - it was raining heavily so just going downstairs to eat seemed like a good idea and it was. We ate in the front dining room - I had Lobster stuffed Mushrooms, my husband had the lasagna - we were both happy with our choices.
