When we arrived at the hotel to check in the lady behind the counter was really frazzled but was nice enough. She gave us our key and were on our way, when we opened the door to our room the bed was stripped, pillows were all over the place, and the bathroom was not cleaned out from the previous people staying there.
I called the check in counter and got the same frazzled lady and told her that the room wasn't ready yet. We were planning on walking around for a while anyway so I told her that we would be gone for a bit and come back after the room was cleaned.
We came back about two or so hours later and the maid was just starting to clean. She did a good job even though it was later than promised.
The room itself is ok, nothing fancy, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom is tiny and the sitting room is a good size. The furniture in the sitting room is just wicker porch furniture and is not all that comfy when watching TV.
Be forewarned that there is no air conditioning. I think this was one of the hottest labor day weekends ever and it got HOT in the room. The maid told us that if you open the door on the water side of the room you will get a great breeze and it will stay cooled off. There was no breeze for us.
We were given a WiFi password at check in. The password did not work and it was late so I didn't bother to call to see what the password really was so I am not sure what the speed was.
The place was fine for one night, the location is fantastic and we had a great view from our patio. I would stay again, it was clean and good location, those are the most important to me.
