As part of a mini art retreat in beautiful Saint Andrews, a group of us artists stayed at Europa. It was perfect! The owners are so friendly and welcoming, and the Inn is wonderfully charming with personal touches that you just don't get from cookie cutter chain hotels. After a full day of painting down on the wharf, it was just a short stroll back for a social evening of great food and friends then a wonderful night's sleep. Could not have had a better time!

This quaint little hotel is well positioned in the middle of St Andrews yet it is quiet. The property is clean and well designed. Our room was a little small for both of us and our dog but adequate. Because we booked at the last minute we weren't able to reserve a suite. The staff are very helpful and the place is very pet friendly and understanding of dog noises. In addition to being a great place to stay the restaurant which provides breakfast and dinner is the best in town. In fact it has spoiled us for the rest of the trip and set the bar extremely high for other restaurants that follow.

Room tip: all of the rooms are quiet.

We only stayed one night and checked in after dark but had a great sleep, the room was clean, and there was a lot of beautiful artwork in the inn. The staff was helpful and friendly. It is very close to everything in the downtown.

Gracious staff; scrumptious breakfasts; convenient location for exploring on foot many of the local sites (the town wharf, Kingsbrae Garden, Ross Museum, etc.). Beautiful paintings of the area by Simone Ritter adorn the walls throughout the inn and add to the delight of staying at Europa. We enjoyed our 2-night stay and recommend this inn if you're heading to St. Andrew's-by-the-Sea!

We loved staying at the Europa Inn. We spent two nights in a room with a king-size bed and a small balcony. The room was a bit small, but well-appointed and very clean. The large bathroom had a nice shower and plenty of towels and toiletries. The best part of staying there was the location - walking distance to everything in St. Andrews - and the outstanding restaurant. Definitely get the meal package if you book a room here. We added ours to the reservation after booking and were so happy to have this option. Another thing to note are the original paintings and watercolors by the owner's wife all throughout the inn and restaurant. She is very talented and many of her works are available for purchase.
