Booked one night as a layover because of a snowstorm. Room was quaint and relatively quiet considering it it faced the main road. Staff was attentive and friendly. Check in was quick and easy. Breakfast was delicious with hot coffee outside your door in the morning.
Easy bus access to the slopes makes this establishment a great spot to stay a few nights.
The home is lovely with a cafe on the main floor with lots of seating and the rooms are well appointed. The room was a good size with a little table for sitting at. As someone mentioned, the air conditioning unit is weak and does not cool the room. The breakfast was ok - crepe with fruit and cheese. I thought a pastry or something should have been served with it given the cafe has nice pastries. It is a one-person band…the person behind the counter is also the check-in person, she opened the shed for the bikes etc. So sometimes you are waiting for a while. The hot tub was a nice area with a fire pit too…the water was very clean when we used it. They could use an ‘arm’ to lift the lid so one person can remove the lid. Overall nice hotel…these are small improvements that can be made. It is expensive though for what you get…but convenient to the bike trail.
Our family of 6 spent two wonderful nights at LE 900 as part of our P’tit Train du Nord bike trip. We took a rest day in Tremblant and could not be happier with the decision to stay at Le 900. Martin is a consummate host, is ever present, it is incredibly hospitable and runs a beautiful Inn. The rooms are lovely, and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is outstanding, fresh coffee is outside each room early in the morning, and the location in terms of the bike trail (and bus route) could not be better. Highly recommended.
We stayed here as part of our Cyclo-Gites biking package. This small boutique hotel is situated very close to the bike path. We could not have more pleased with it. The owner was wonderful-- very friendly and helpful. I lost my earing in a nearby restaurant and he went to pick it up. The coffee and expresso were excellent. Breakfast was nice also. I had heard that the hotel was recently nicely renovated. The rooms are small but designed cleverly. We took the public bus (free) to the tourist area, walked around, then came back and biked off.
Meh!
We always try to support non chain businesses, but this one made me regret my decision.
Pros: some what boutique feel
Cons:
- location is ok but not great; if you are getting something in your price range in the village definitely pick that ( I got tempted with the boutique feel even though I had options in the village and was more than disappointed)
- No trash can in room except a tiny one in the bathroom
- AC DOES NOT COOL. I hate sleeping in a warm room; and unfortunately that’s what I had to deal with. The super cheap tiny AC does not match up to the pretentious boutique feel they are trying to create and most importantly does not cool.
- Hot tub is meh, not in a nice set up; super basic and slightly dirty.
- No savory option at breakfast, one fixed item- too sweet for our taste. Only person who enjoyed it was my 5 year old!
- A partially consumed cup of coffee lay there in the lobby for all the 16 hours of my stay.
- Limited staff availability- thankfully I checked in just before 8 pm. Nobody picked up my phone when I tried to call earlier to inform about my delayed arrival, so I was keeping my fingers crossed that I won’t have a problem. When I first arrived the front door was locked and I had to peep through multiple windows to figure out if someone could help me in. Luckily the owner noticed. I had made it by 7:20 p.m. and it was before their arbitrary and undeclared cut off time so I was able to check in. But I was clearly informed upon check in that nobody will be available after 8 pm.
- False advertising and Bad attitude- I booked a room which was advertised as a Quadruple room and two Queen beds. Possibly there was a glitch or miscommunication between search engines and the reservation transmitted to him indicated that we will be 2 guests (when we were 4.. 3+1). In any case, we had made sure we paid for a higher config room with two queen beds and which was literally advertised as a quadruple room. He got SOOO mad at us when he saw there’s four of us to occupy his so called quadruple room. My son got freaked out with his attitude. All I ask is he could have talked to us decently to sort it out. Ruined the last night of our vacation with his horrendous attitude.
- I was ready to leave and find a place somewhere else as there were plenty of rooms available as it was a Monday night; but my husband decided to stay put for convenience and paid for another room despite already having paid for a quadruple room. He did charge us less for the second room than the advertised rate but even with that I could have stayed in a nicer place for the total expense.
Overall, you can get much better value and less attitude elsewhere in the village.
