Why would you visit a UNESCO World Heritage Site and not take a tour to learn about the town? What attracted me to this tour is it is only 1-1.5 hrs long - the perfect length! I also had the honour of having the company owner, Shelah Allen, as my guide. As a 7th generation local, she shared the perfect mix of history, architecture and personal anecdotes. And, at only $20 this tour is cheaper than a Nova Scotia lobster. This walking tour is a must-do not only in Lunenburg, but in Nova Scotia!
