We were given an excellent free guided tour of this house by a very pleasant girl in period costume. It was very interesting to hear of its history and how people used to live in Lunenburg. They also have an excellent display of historic clothing on mannequins.

The flax spinning weaving display with in period actors is stunningly good, not to be missed. This house is a quick inexpensive (donations only) way to view how folks lived in the day.

Small museum highlighting some of the important historical information of Lunenburg. This is a self guided tour so I'm not sure this would be the best acitivity for small kids, but for adults that enjoy stopping and reading infromation it's very informative. Admission is just by donation so just remember to bring a couple of dollars to help support them.

We were a bit let down by our experience here, since there wasn't a guide to provide information concerning the house. We were glad we had already visited the Ross-Thomson House in Shelburne where we were provided with loads of information concerning this type of house.
