Well done again! Loved the history and the out buildings showing how they lived within the compound.

We visited The Fort with friends on our way to Glacier National Park. The cost was $16 each to walk around at your own pace through the compound. Lots of Canadian Mountie history. My favorite things were the tenants rules posting inside the Kanouse House and the Haultain Law Office where he tells you his story. Since it was post-season, the musical ride was not in operation. There is a gift shop, washrooms and picnic area.

We toured southern Alberta instead of burning our dirty fossil fuels in BC this year, and this was a wonderful stop. We had three g kids under twelve and they thoroughly enjoyed the fort as well as the museum displays. They had learned much about our indigenous peoples at school and this was a great fit. The old buildings provided real proof of our tales of the olden days. This fort is well kept, staff were friendly, entry price was reasonable, and there was an awesome ice cream spot right next door. Very nice two hour stop.

An informative museum with lots of exhibits and old buildings to wander around. The musical ride is pretty good and you are permitted to visit the horses in the stables. Worth a visit.
