We stayed at the Hadthong Hotel Friday 23rd February. Room is old but we slept ok. We had a front room with a stunning view from our balcony. The bathroom was very run down but served it's purpose. We were lucky to be able to park underneath the reception area. The other entrance to the hotel from a back road has a ramp if you can't handle stairs.

Check was fine, we were early by 2 hours so left everything in our car and went for a walk along the promedade. There was some festival being set up so we went for a walk around and took some photos.

There are a few restaurants near the hotel and a couple of cafes. We had a meal at the MA-PROW restaurant which was spicey and so cheap.

Wifi in room was fine, breakfast was mostly Thai dishes which is to be expected. All the staff we found to be very polite and easy to communicate with. Fresh market is close by (from back road entrance) and 7 11 about 5 minute walk past the fresh market. Post office is also across the road from back road entrance.

First Hotel in Prachuap-khiri-khan.Establihed more than 30 years ago. Though the location is best but the maintainance is very poor. Just new swimming pool and Seaview restaurant where guests have breakfast is "not old and neglegebce". The room is very old but not stale. Almost no amenities. Byo toiletries. Surprisingly air condition in the room does it's job nicely. Breakfast is ok with best view of the town bay. If u r pineapple lover, Prachuabjhirikhan is the place.

Stayed here many over the years dating back to the 1980s , and most of the rooms still look the same to this day. They have upgraded a few in the front but they are normally booked, the majority are a bit shabby. So I don't come here for hotel luxury, what I come here for is that view you get when you pull back the curtains in the morning, worth the price of the room by it self. And of course the rooms don't cost much to start with, plus the nice quite town where you can have a lovely cold beer and chill out in peace. As far removed from Pattaya as you are likely to get, AAAHHH.

The Hotel is located at the beachroad with a beautiful view. Rooms are clean with WiFi. The breakfast buffet is a good starter to the day. We stayed there several times on our trips from Phuket to Bangkok. The hotel is near some nice places for dinner and having a beer at the ocean.

Stayed here for a 2 day weekend recently and was more than happy with the facilities and location of this hotel. Beds comfy, aircon very effective and ocean views fantastic. Bathrooms definitely need renovation but everything worked. Breakfast which was included offered a good mix or Asian and simple European options. Lunch/Dinner menu options cover most everything Thia with some European options - and all priced very reasonably. Hotel's location right on the Esplanade and in the central town area fantastic. Would stay here again!

Room Tip: Don't miss the evening market on the Esplanade every Friday and Saturday night!
