Description: The Weavers Tearooms is part of the New Inn, a medieval hall-house, used as an Inn around the 15th century for travellers. Today Weavers continues the tradition of providing a welcome stop, offering a full range of excellent homemade fare. Breakfasts, morning coffee, lunches and afternoon teas; from sandwiches to salads, cakes to cream teas and of course our famous scones. All made here at the Weavers Tearooms. We are a family business who concentrate mainly on good old English cooking. Food “like what mum used to make”. Our aim is always to prepare food to the highest standards, at the same time offering good value for money. Simple, honest and good tasting food.

Called here on recommendations for lunch. Very reasonable price for the 3 course special. Good food pleasantly served. Can recommend the bread and butter pudding. Unusual collection of clocks for sale. Can get busy

My husband had visited here with his local cycling club so thought I'd like to visit it and sample their cream teas which were as he had said, delicious! There are other cakes to choose from as well as cooked breakfasts and various other dishes. There is an outside seating area too which is on the edge of the green.

This tearoom is in Peasenhall in Suffolk. They offer cooked breakfasts, light refreshments and a good selection of lunches/ dinners. I enjoyed a well cooked dinner in pleasant surroundings. The staff were friendly and helpful and the price was very reasonable. If travelling one disadvantage is that it closes at 4 pm but that may have been because of the time of year.

Nice little tea room. Delicious scones and a menu with various other dishes. They also sell some local products like wine and marmalade.

We arrived at this charming tea room with delight on a long cycle ride which had not passed any food & drink outlet for several hours. We arrived at 4.02 pm hoping for lovely meals but were told no hot food was available after 4.00! This was really annoying. An English disease is this. Waitress would not sell meals and was quite unfriendly.
The cake, scones & teas we had were good, but we left very unhappy.

I am sorry you were disappointed but hot food is cooked from 8.00am to 4.00pm and the kitchen needs to be cleaned ready for the next day. You might have arrived at the Tearooms just after 4.00pm but you have to give thought to the fact that each of you had to place an order and all food is cooked fresh to order. I do not understand your comment `An English disease', we cook for 8 hours and then spend around a further 2 hours cleaning in preparation for the next days customers. If you mean we are hard workers then yes, we are infected.
