I needed a place to stay near Castletownsend for a few nights and decided on Atlantic house and how glad I am to have done so..the setting and view is superb .Im a light sleeper so a comforable bed is important and so it proved. The conservatory syle breakfast room was bright and airy and helped the enjoyment of a great breakfast. Then step outside and relax in the quiet countryside

We picked this Bed & Breakfast by tossing a coin and it really worked out well. The staff were wonderful and helpful with giving the right and some very good informations about the area. The breakfast that was included was really nice - made fresh to order with a lot of cold/hot options. The rooms were really nice and clean. They have a nice study where you could sit and enjoy a beverage. We will come back again as our annual petanque "Sandy Cove grand prix" is on the next Beach.

We recently stayed with Kathleen and John at the start of our holidays towards the end of July of this year. We had the triple room which was spotlessly clean and tidy, very comfortable and a perfect size even though we were three adults sharing the room (rather large ones in some cases, at that!). Breakfast was lovely - my husband helped himself to the fry up every day, happily munching into sausages and bacon and eggs, all washed down with excellent fresh coffee. I tried a variety of breakfasts, possibly my favourite being porridge with honey and scrambled eggs on toast. Our friend loved the fruit salad every morning - which is funny because she never eats it at home!

Kathleen gave us such a welcome to her home and was always lovely, taking time to chat and talk alongside running a family home and business. Nothing was too much for her. John's cooking went down a treat. The free WiFi was well used and the guest sittingroom with the view of the sea was so lovely. Castletownshend is a fantastic village, so pretty and quiet with stunning views and we've visited many many times.

We would heartily recommend a stay with Kathleen and John, you will NOT regret it!!

Oh and Tweety stole our hearts... hello Tweetie!!!!

Service was excellent. Kathleen dropped us into castletownsend whenever we needed a lift. She also provided honey and hot lemon to ease a sore throat which was very kind. The room was spotless and breakfast was good. The breakfast room over looked the sea and we were invited to use this room if we wanted to sit there and read. We will be back!
