This 'adult-only' Warners Mansion Hotel is set in pretty grounds with a lake in which can be used for fishing, there is also other activities available such as tennis, bowls, croquet and indoors a pool, gym, sauna etc. The hotel was decorated superbly for Christmas, and lovely and cosy. We had a signature room, which meant we could dine in the contemporary Courtyard restaurant, the food was very good, although they do seem to be 'winding down' by 8pm, and the starter of crab cake my husband ordered was 'not available', and some vegetables in the carvery looked a bit over-heated.
A lot of guests seem to eat from 6pm-7.30pm, which we personally find too early while on holiday, but it didn't matter, as its best to go on to the caberet room anyway to get a seat for the evening entertainment. We had on this 2n 'twixmas break' a comediain with his 'one man band' full kit which was quite amusing between his jokes, and a great 50/60's band on the 2nd night called The Flames, who were excellent electric guitar players and did the hits of The Shadows very very well, and the drummer even did a whole TEN minute drum solo which was amazing.
The room we had on the 2nd floor had everything we required - even 'The White Company' toiletries and a nice refreshment tray daily with packets of biscuits. The bed was a Queen sized 6foot bed with fresh white linen and rooms modern decor was very pleasing with a flat-screen tv, dvd player and lamps both table and upright in the room.
We visited Worcester one day, many went to Hereford, and the Forest of Dean is nearby. Trips by coach can be taken too which is a nice touch for those who don't want to /can't drive. We have been to quite a few Warners Hotels and this is up with the rest. A great break before the New Year begins, or anytime when you just want to escape from everything and relax in lovely surroundings fit for a Lord! (Or Lady).

Room Tip: Royale suites get perks such as their own carpark next to hotel, and eat in the AA rose fine dining...

We have just reurned from a very pleasant stay at this lovely hotel. From the reception staff to the waitresses and cleaning staff, they were all very polite and made us feel welcome. The entertainment on the whole was very good, especially the professional comedians. Food was excellent and the hotel was beautifully decorated to get us in the festive mood. The rooms were very nice with lovely comfortable bed. The grounds were lovely, pity the weather wasn't better, but it was December. A visit to the church is a must, I even played the organ with my partner doing the pumping. All in all a very enjoyable break.

Another good holiday with Warner's. We stayed from 12 - 16th December and they had a Christmas theme, so we had Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day an New Year's Eve Celebrations during that time. Cheerful and pleasant staff and nothing too much trouble if you wanted something. Food excellent and hotel and bedrooms spotless. Can't wait to try another Warner's hotel. Leisure facilities were excellent and the gardens well kept too.

Room Tip: Our room was very nice - room 236, it was one of their Signature Rooms and it was warm and comfortab...

We have just spent a pleasant and relaxing few days at this hotel. Our trip last month to another of the Warner Leisure hotels at Cricket st Thomas had set a high expectation and we were not disappointed. We stayed in one of the Historic Junior Suites and the standard was first class in every respect, clean and comfortable with a really lovely view of the grounds.
The Orchard restaurant was one of the best we have been in for a long time. Top class food and the dining staff were of the highest standard, an asset to Warners.

Room Tip: If possible look for the discounts and stay in the main house. All rooms are large and most have won...
