We had a very enjoyable stay at the Clifton. There were a couple of issues with the room we were allocated but the staff sorted it out within a few minutes. Beautiful situated hotel, with very good connection to all of famous 'must see' places in Bristol.
Very friendly and helpful crew.
My room was very clean, and warm. Even due to chilly weather, and old-fashioned Victorian windows (listed building). Radiator was off, no need to be on.
Huge bed with firm mattress. As I like.
Water under shower even to hot. I reported possible broken mixer.
Good quality of food available in the hotel's restaurant.
Overall 7 out of 5*
Definitely will stay there during my next visit in Bristol

Room was pretty nice. Customer service was great. The bar was amazing! Nice people, great brew selection. Was really nice stay. For location, perfect. Bridge, restaurants, clubs, bars, and universities.

Well placed for places to eat & drink in the area, very courteous and helpful staff, secure parking facilities. Situated only 20 minutes pleasant walk from the Harbourside district. I would happily stay again..

Friday night overnight stay. Started badly when the hotel’s garage (the main reason I had booked this place) was full and it was only 2.30 in the afternoon. The room was small, the bed titchy and the bathroom minuscule but it was perfectly clean and reasonably well equipped. Hot water ran out half way through my shower. Good location.

Unfortunately parking is limited in the area which means that our garage can fill up, especially approaching the weekend.
